[new product] Little Chipipi Outer Space

Sam at Little Chipipi has released her latest design - Outer Space! As always, the colours are gorgeous and the design is cute!

Thomas was obsessed with the moon, rockets and stars when he was little. One of his news topics this year was "What is your favourite nursery rhyme?" His was Twinkle Twinkle. He added a second verse when he was three. The lyrics were "moon"over and over again. It was very cute. I think every little boy goes through a moon, stars and rocket phase. There is something about being an astronaut that they find intriguing ... This design is going to go to the top of our sellers list I am sure. Boys will have a lot of fun re arranging these wall stickers!

What else I love about them:
"Gorgeous adhesive artworks that are removable and repositional over and over again.Perfect for little designers who love to decorate. These durable, easy to use stickers are a quick and effective way to brighten up bedrooms or play rooms.Little Chipipi’s premium Australian Made wall stickers will remove and reposition without damaging walls* or leaving residue. Just peel and stick."

Moveables TM

It is no secret that I LOVE Little Chipipi wall stickers. Milly has the butterfly design in her bedroom and I will often find her re arranging the butterflies according to where she thinks they should be. Part of me inwardly grrrs because I like them to be a certain way, but outwardly I am proud of her and ask her why they are where they are ... "to be with her friends, Mummy".

Sam has changed the Little Chipipi name to Moveables TM for this reason - they are moveable and kids can enjoy them being on their walls and a piece of moveable art. Hey, they are only young once!

How beautiful are these images! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Q & A with Sam from Little Chipipi

The Little Chipipi range of wall stickers are cheerful, lovely and made from high quality vinyl. They say that a pictures speaks a thousand words. Well, I believe this is true of the products we sell - they speak a multitude about their designer, including those of Sam from Little Chipipi. I am Little Chipipi's biggest fan :) She has just released Baby Animals and Flower Power.

1. How long have you been running your business? Little Chipipi started about 4 years ago

2. What were you doing prior to your current venture? Graphic Designer for 8 years

3. If you had to choose your favourite product from your range, what would it be & why? Probably the Butterfly wall stickers as they seem to suit so many different situations, from a new born to a 12year old girl....and I love all the patterns and how they fit together.

4. What do you do to relax? Going to the movies and going out for dinner. Also love holidays away somewhere.

5. If you were able to go wherever you wanted to this weekend, where would it be? We have just come back from Rottnest in WA which is always great, but I could see myself going to Thailand as I love the humidity and the beaches.

6. What was the last thing that you purchased? Probably something for my son Kaleb, he always seems to be who I am buying for.

7. Who lives at your place? Partner Rob, son Kaleb (4) and cat Petey (19)

Decorating Henry's room

Henry is currently in our bedroom, tucked in the corner in his little timber Boori rocker. I love hearing him breathe and recently hearing him chatter (well, I guess more like coo) before the cry for food!

Thomas informs me (and as told to his class in news time) that once his little brother is one he will be moving into his room (I hope he is as enthusiastic once the move becomes a reality!). Thomas has a double size bedroom and his little brother will be joining him at some stage. We ended up keeping the nursery as a study and decided that the boys can share. I am not sure how to deal with the lego all over the floor and a toddler but I guess we will jump that hurdle down the track.
I came across this bedspread today (I am having a love affair with Sheridan) and have put it away for when he is old enough for a bed, which hopefully doesn't come around too fast. It is a perfect match for the Little Chipipi Ships Ahoy wall stickers. We grew up spending holidays and weekends in the water and on the water so I am a lost cause for anything nautical. I still love the breeze between the ears getting rid of the cobwebs. Bring on some summer weather and a holiday on the coast!
*Love some ideas of how to control lego especially when it is a work in progress and all sorted into piles across the carpet ready for the next design but impossible to manuevre a vacuum cleaner around!!!

Decorating the Nursery

We are expecting our 3rd baby in 11.5 weeks (although Thomas was 10 days overdue & Milly was 9 days!) and it looks like I will have a blank nursery to work on next weekend. I can't wait! Perfect timing because I will be able to decorate with the new Little Chipipi wall stickers that should arrive in store over the next week or so.

I was stoked when I saw Sam's latest designs as, like the butterfly range they are cheery, use lovely colours and are friendly. I love birds and come from a sailing family - so either way we are set!
Only problem is that no one other than Kirk & I know the sex of this baby so the door will have to be locked somehow.... Any ideas on how to do this with a 5 year old, 2 year old & curious relatives!!!! ...
