Hi Veri, Yes to all three. Mine has thrived on neglect and a lot of luck! Taken 2 years to fruit though and I had a largish tree to start with. They are my favourite fruit - it is like eating a super vitamin & even better from your own tree :)
Bought it from Engalls on Epping Rd in Carlingford which has since disappeared - they are now in Dural

i've never heard of anyone doing that in Sydney.
